Service Technician - Mechanical/Heavy Diesel/Hydraulics

Reference: JHB -HJ-4 Duties & Responsibilities Field service: Perform above tasks on site at customers as required, both on surface and possibly underground at mines. Respond and attend promptly to equipment breakdowns at customer sites. Carry out service and repairs on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components. Solve complex equipment-related issues including diagnostic fault finding. Commission new or refurbished equipment at customers. Provide training on supplied equipment either on site or at the workshop premises. Assemble new equipment according to manuals and instructions. Execute service agreement duties with customers for maintenance or inspection of their equipment. Receive equipment at premises and perform issued work instructions.
