Senior Underwriter

Avencia are partnered with a global insurer who are looking to who are looking to recruit into an established team writing complex liability risks across emerging industries, new business models, and innovative insurance solutions. They’re looking for someone who enjoys the analytical side of underwriting, keeps close to industry trends, and is interested in assessing risks that don’t always fit neatly into traditional underwriting models. The role combines technical underwriting with a broader commercial focus, including identifying new opportunities, working closely with brokers and clients, and helping shape the direction of the portfolio.
