About the Role
The Senior Surveyor is responsible for surveying works during the full phases of a construction project, ensuring that all measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites are accurate.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows: Lead and independently manage surveying activities across all phases of the project, ensuring timely and accurate setting out, measurements and verification works. Review, verify and endorse survey data, calculations and site records to ensure accuracy, compliance with project requirements and readiness for construction use. Plan survey methodologies, establish control points, baselines and benchmarks, and resolve technical surveying issues on site with minimal supervision. Locate and mark sites selected for geophysical prospecting activities such as efforts to locate petroleum or other mineral products.
