Go Backend Engineer – Directory Business Unit

You will help build and own the Directory user identity and access management platform, serving partner projects such as skyscrapers, hospitals, and schools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services in Go implementing event‑driven systems with CQRS and event sourcing.
• Drive the migration of business logic and data from a Ruby monolith to the new Go service.
• Build ongoing features while the service progresses from closed beta to production ownership.
• Develop and extend GraphQL Federation schemas powering the federated API gateway.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and UX to design solutions for user and company management.
• Apply systems‑engineering thinking to improve scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Write performant code for a distributed, multi‑tenant SaaS architecture.
