Senior Safety Resilience Officer

3 month contract role with a Local Authority Job Summary: The Senior Safety & Resilience Officer (Health & Safety Compliance Officer Waste Services) supports the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient waste and recycling operations across Rugby Borough. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to UK health and safety legislation, conducting inspections and investigations, and promoting a strong safety culture within frontline operational teams. It combines compliance oversight, on-site monitoring, and proactive risk management, including the use of CCTV systems. Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample): Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, including HASAWA, COSHH, and RIDDOR.
