About the Role

Multiple Sclerosis ImagingLaboratory at Turku PET Centre, Finland is looking for new personnel for our flagship project on advanced imaging of neuroinflammation.

We currently have openings for one Senior Researcherand onePostdoctoral Researcher for fixed term positions starting in Autumn 2026 (starting date negotiable) until 31 May 2029, with a possibility to continue employment also after this.

Our research integrates:

  • Molecular imaging (including TSPO-PET)
  • Advanced MRI
  • Fluid biomarkers
  • Clinical phenotyping

    • to investigate mechanisms of disease progression and treatment response in MS.

    Research focus

    Projects will explore:

  • Glial activation and innate immune responses in MS
  • Imaging biomarkers of disease activity and progression
  • Treatment effects on neuroinflammation
