Senior Planning Policy Officer

Position Summary

Opus People Solutions are hiring for a Senior Planning Policy Officer within a Local Authority client based in Northamptonshire.

The role is 37 hours per week, offering remote working (2 days on-site per week), and £32.95 Umbrella per day (£24.00 PAYE), with a contract length of 3 months+.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the provision of professional planning policy advice and information to the Council in accordance with Town and Country Planning and associated legislation
• Assist with the delivery of the Local Plan and evidence base, including the Strategic Land Availability Assessment, Site Selection, and Infrastructure Delivery Plan
• Deliver excellent customer service in every interaction for all internal and external customers, including Councillors
