About the Role

  • Perform duties related to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt and accurate manner.
  • Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triage patient orders, and maintain the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
  • Possess advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.

  • Pharmacy Technician,Dispensing Medications,Automated Dispensing System (ADS)
  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Oregon Certified Pharmacy Technician upon hire, or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years (> 4160 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and PTCB certification - OR - 3 years (> 6240 hours) hospital pharmacy if technician does not have PTCB certification.
