Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Non F1

The Role

Reporting to the Lead Design Engineer, the successful candidate will take full ownership and responsibility for a variety of complex engineering projects. Using an analytical approach alongside a high attention to detail to engineering design, they will take ownership of designing and developing mechanical, composite, and hydraulic systems, from concept through to design, testing, and implementation onto the car.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and development of a variety of mechanical, composite, and hydraulic systems on the car
• Integration of these components into the overall car package
• Mass tracking predictions on a timely basis
• Collaboration with the structural team for part optimisation, with the use of Catia FEA to support your own designs
• Delivery of innovative design solutions that support the team's goal to maximise performance and minimise mass
