Duties & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the subject group at undergraduate and postgraduate levels – in distance and contact modes. Development of new modules and study material in Learner Support in the different programmes offered. Research and Supervision Research and postgraduate supervision in the field of Learner Support, with appropriate publications. Work Integrated Learning Community Engagement Administrative Tasks Desired Experience & Qualification
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A Ph D in Learner Support or equivalent (NQF 10). A Professional Teacher’s Qualification (NQF 6-8). Two accredited publications. One successfully delivered higher degree student. ADDED ADVANTAGES: Professional registration with SACE. Two years’ teaching and learning (full-time or part-time) experience at university level. Two years’ experience in a learner support practice delivering learner support services. Functional / Technical Compe...
