Senior Engineer - Development Infrastructure

AECOM is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a highways and drainage focus to join our Development Infrastructure Team in St Albans. The team delivers multidisciplinary, predominantly residential‑led infrastructure projects, ranging from early scoping and feasibility through detailed design and construction support. Our projects span highways, rail, water infrastructure and solar farms across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical and digital delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and review survey specifications, including utilities and topographical surveys.
• Check and coordinate the production of studies, assessments, and conceptual designs for development schemes (drainage, highways, utilities, earthworks, and flood risk).
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance.
