Senior Electronics Test Engineer

What will you do? • Assist in new product introduction and product line transfers between facilities • Design electrical and computer test fixtures using relay logic, PLC’s and/or computer controls • Design and build testing simulators and other devices • Train, evaluate, and assist direct labor Testers and Test Technicians. • Troubleshoot electrical test fixtures for both repair and production areas. • Develop, document, and maintain work instructions and test procedures. • Resolve Engineering Investigations into root cause failures. • Assist with test equipment selection, capital justification and procurement • Support local Lean, Six Sigma and 5S projects and assist with Kaizen/TPM/Value Stream • Responsible for ensuring proper and sufficient test equipment is available. • Responsible for overseeing/maintaining other computer controlled and/or automated equipment as assigned. • Position includes hands-on testing and troubleshooting with shop test personnel and Repair Technicians. • ...
