Position

Senior Ecological Consultant – Cardiff office.

Responsibilities

• Line manage a small team of Ecological Consultants and Assistant Ecologists, and may also act as technical lead.
• Lead and manage large, complex projects from start to finish.
• Handle technically challenging tasks such as EPSL applications, EcIA chapters, and habitat regulation assessments.
• Deliver high‑quality reports and outputs, meeting or exceeding project deadlines and budget constraints.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring continued trust and satisfaction.
• Document professional experience and leverage it towards obtaining protected species licences.
• Take ownership of survey work quality, providing leadership to the field team.
