Senior Customs Broker

Hellmann is looking for a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Customs Broker to support our New Zealand brokerage operations, ensuring compliance, quality delivery, and strong outcomes across your assigned portfolio.

About the Job

• Manage end-to-end customs clearance, ensuring full compliance with NZ Customs and MPI
• Prepare and sign accurate declarations (classification, valuation, duties)
• Provide expert advice to customers and internal teams on customs requirements
• Liaise with border agencies to ensure timely shipment clearance
• Resolve clearance issues and maintain accurate documentation
• Support compliance activities and drive continuous improvement

About You

• NZ Customs PIN certified with solid knowledge of NZ regulations
• 5+ years’ experience in customs brokerage or freight forwarding
