About the Role
Role Summary
Leads design validation, sizing, and end-to-end implementation of Private Cloud platforms. Owns solution build, migrations, and operational excellence. Guides junior engineers and interacts with customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cloud assessment and capacity planning
Design compute, storage, network, and virtualization architecture
Size environments based on workloads (CPU, RAM, IOPS, throughput)
Deploy clusters and automate provisioning
Implement DR and backup strategies (RPO/RTO based)
Lead POCs and migrations to Private Cloud
Implement container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes)
Create HLD/LLD and operational procedures
Drive performance tuning and optimization
Mentor L2 engineers
Required Skills
Strong in:
SDDC architecture principles
VMware/Nutanix cluster design
Storage design (IOPS modelling, tiering)
Networking (leaf-spine, VXLAN, NSX concepts)
Backup & DR architecture
