About the Role
Duties:
Own end-to-end buying for the Distribution Centre, including fresh produce, bulk ingredients (oils, grains, dry goods), and non-food items (cleaning materials, consumables, etc.)
Develop and manage accurate forecasting models to ensure consistent supply across all production lines
Maintain optimal stock levels ensuring availability without overstocking or waste, particularly within fresh categories
Continuously monitor and manage cost prices, identifying discrepancies and acting immediately
Lead supplier negotiations to secure the best quality and pricing, while maintaining strong, reliable relationships
Identify and resolve stock, pricing, and supply discrepancies proactively
Work closely with operations and stores, managing constant communication and demand changes
