Senior Building Officer/Code Enforcement Officer

The Senior Building Officer/Code Enforcement Officer is a single position classification. The incumbent is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the City's Building and Code Enforcement functions including policy development, program planning, fiscal management, administration, and operations. This position differs from that of Building Officer/Code Enforcement in that the Senior level position requires seven (7) years of experience as a Building Inspector for a governmental agency.
