About the Role

Kennedys is looking for a Senior Associate with5 years PQE to join our growing insurance practice in Sydney.

You'll work closely with Alexandra Bartlett, whose practice focuses on financial lines, D&O and professional indemnity. This is an opportunity to build your profile on complex, high-value matters, with a mix of defence and coverage work and strong partner access from day one.


Type of work:

  • Complex coverage disputes across financial lines, D&O and professional indemnity

  • Defending negligence and other claims brought against solicitors, accountants, engineers and other professionals

  • Coverage issues involving aggregation, contribution and subrogation

  • Large loss and monitored claims involving brokers, insureds and external counsel

  • High-stakes disputes arising from class actions, liquidator claims and ASIC investigations
