Job Description:

Saab, Inc. in East Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced Senior Assembler to join the Manufacturing and Production team.

Responsibilities include:

• Work from wire diagrams, engineering drawings (blueprints), sketches, and written or oral instructions to create initial layouts and accurately assemble products.

• Use hand and power tools as required to complete assemblies.

• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications.

• Apply advanced electrical and mechanical assembly concepts to resolve complex issues and support company objectives.

• Understand and apply ESD principles and safeguarding requirements.

• Properly use hand tools such as torque wrenches, wire cutters, strippers, and crimpers.
