Senior Analytics Engineering Manager

Our Borrowing team at Monzo is seeking a senior Analytics Engineer to build and maintain a scalable, reliable data warehouse that powers decision‑making across the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and scaling of a high‑performance analytics discipline, establishing industry‑leading data practices.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a small team of 6–7 engineers through regular 1:1s, continuous feedback, and collaboration.
• Aid prioritisation of initiatives and projects, working closely with cross‑collective leads.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews, and contribute to pipelines and data models.
• Support hiring – participate in interviewing and onboarding of new engineers.
