We’re hiring a Senior AI Research Scientist to join our team in Lisbon and focus on research and development of state‑of‑the‑art AI and LLM technologies. This role will power the next generation of products at TransPerfect and deliver real business impact. Responsibilities

• Conduct and lead novel research that advances the state‑of‑the‑art in Machine Translation, Quality Estimation, Multilingual Large Language Models, and Natural Language Processing.
• Implement code for training, fine‑tuning, testing, and evaluating models.
• Play an active role in the NLP and ML research communities.
• Coordinate and work with TransPerfect teams to understand and develop technology‑based solutions to key business challenges.
