SEND Teaching Assistant

This position is for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in our existing dedicated and successful support team. You will work with a named student supporting them with a range of needs.

Responsibilities

• Work for 32.5 hours per week during the Term time.
• Work closely with the student, building positive working relationships to help them engage fully in school life.
• Be caring and supportive, and have a good understanding of the issues our young people encounter.
• Have excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, especially in improving behaviour for learning.
• Good understanding of issues young people encounter.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Subject to satisfactory references, DBS check, medical check, evidence of qualifications, and right to work in UK.
