About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a SEN Science Teacher on behalf of a specialist partner school in Sunderland.

The school supports pupils with Autism, SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties through small class sizes, personalised learning plans and therapeutic interventions.

The Role:


  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs
  • Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management
  • Delivering engaging and practical learning experiences
  • Promoting confidence and independence in learners
  • Working closely with support staff and leadership teams

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • SEN or alternative provision experience desirable
  • Ability to differentiate effectively
  • Positive and resilient attitude
