About the Role
You’ll be supporting children on a daily basis, helping them feel safe, understood and confident in school. For some pupils, that means support with learning. For others, it’s emotional regulation, routines or simply having a calm, trusted adult by their side. What the role looks like day to day
What we’re looking for
Providing 1:1 support in the classroom and around the school
Helping pupils manage transitions and stay engaged in learning
Using clear, calm and encouraging communication
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support teams
Creating a positive, inclusive environment, even on the tougher days
What we’re looking for
Experience working with children or young people, in schools, care, youth work or similar settings
A patient, positive approach and a good sense of humour
