About the Role
Summary This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Headquarters Security Services Division (HSSD). The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a focal point for the protection of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities(SCIF) and Classified National Security Information (CNSI) in classified collateral facilities. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position. Responsibilities As a Security Specialist, GS-0080-11/12, your typical work assignments may include the following: Conducts security operations that support classified facility processes and procedures. Conducts security operations that support classified facility inspection programs. Identifies areas of improvement in the security program to enhance customer satisfaction.
