About the Role
Join Seaspan as a Second Engineer responsible for operational efficiency and compliance of mechanical and electrical systems on board a vessel in Kitimat, BC. Support the Chief Engineer while ensuring all equipment meets maritime standards.
As a pivotal member of the engineering team, the Second Engineer will oversee daily operations in the engine room and assist with maintenance scheduling. Candidates should have at least five years of experience, preferably on vessels over 500 gross tons. You will be accountable for troubleshooting machinery, planning maintenance, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
