Scientific Manager/Exec Sci Manager (Ionising Radiation Control Dept)

The Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science Group in NEA is Singapore’s national authority for radiation protection, safeguarding the public, radiation workers and the environment from the harmful effects of radiation. The Regulation Division administers and enforces the Radiation Protection Act and Regulations through licensing and inspections.

As a Scientific Manager / Executive Scientific Manager of the Ionising Radiation Control Department in the Regulation Division, you will enforce radiation safety regulations and advance Singapore’s radiation protection framework through:

• Enforcing the Radiation Protection Act and its Regulations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all radiation users.
• Inspecting medical and industrial premises that store/use irradiating apparatus/radioactive materials.
