Safety Inspector (2nd shift)

Safety Inspectors are required to have a strong understanding of aviation safety principles, aircraft operation and maintenance, AAR policies and federal laws. Primarily, inspectors make sure mechanics, technicians, QC inspectors, aircraft and other equipment function properly. Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair skills are also part of the job.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all repair station personnel comply with current federal aviation regulations, repair station and quality control manual, and policies and procedures
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills, professionalism, and positive customer service attitude without compromising quality
  • Ensuring maintenance and inspection personnel use approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer, FAA and or customer
