About the Role

Job Purpose

The job purpose is to identify and eliminate all potential risks in the workplace. Reporting to the Operations Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • National Dip in Safety Management/ Environmental Health or Completed SAMTRAC
  • 3 - 5 Years minimum relevant manufacturing plant specific SHE Experience
  • Computer Skills i.e. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Presentation)

Responsibilities

SHE Policies and Procedures

  • Ensure implementation and compliance of SHE Policies and Procedures
  • Operate according to standard operating procedures and within the parameters of applicable legislation

SHE Management

  • Implement and maintain adherence to safe working practices and policies
  • Monitor compliance to safety, health and environmental requirements in the workplace
