Rural Emergency Medicine Physician – Inpatient & ED

New Zealand Government is seeking a Rural Medicine Specialist to provide emergency and inpatient care to the Taumarunui community. You will work in our emergency department and inpatient ward, delivering high‑quality preventive, therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, and consulting with tertiary hospital teams as needed.

You will develop rapport with patients and families, perform procedural skills, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team focused on rural health improvement.
