 Certified Inpatient RN - hrs Days 
Shift: Monday through Friday: :am to :pm.

Unit Name: Certified Inpatient Wound Nurse.

Brief Unit Description: Wound nurses respond to consults and manage the wound census throughout the hospital.

Years of Experience Required: years of direct wound care experience.

Skill Sets Required: Wound staging, vac dressing change, completion of wound consults and the management of new ostomies.

Education Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher.

Clinician to Patient Ratio: Two to Three Wound RN's on per day Monday through Friday.

Patient Population: Significant wounds.

Census: -bed Community Hospital.

EMR (Charting System) & Equipment Used: EPIC.

Floating Required: No.

Rotating Shifts Required: No.

Certifications Required: or equivalent preferred. AHA BLS.
