RN - ED (Mids)

A 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department on a mid shift schedule. The facility serves the Four Corners region and operates a 48-bed Emergency Department with flex space, supporting a diverse patient population that includes ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric presentations.


The role. Working within a team nursing and pod system model, the ED RN delivers care across a patient population presenting with conditions including trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain. The unit maintains a 4: 1 nurse-to-patient ratio in the main ED and a 6: 1 ratio in Fast Track. A social worker is assigned to the department and a unit educator is on staff to support clinical development.
