Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with our client in the Broader Public Sector to recruit a Risk Manager. This opportunity is a 6-month contract (possibility of extension) that can be performed remotely from anywhere in Canada. This role involves integration environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into established risk frameworks, while driving effective risk governance and strategic oversight. Experience working in support of financial institutions in a leadership capacity is required for this position. 


Responsibilities

Develop and implement enterprise-wide risk governance standards and frameworks

Integrate ESG considerations into risk management and appetite frameworks

Lead the identification, assessment, and monitoring of top organizational risks
