About the Role

Performs diagnostic sleep studies related to the evaluation and treatment of patients with sleep disorders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided:

WV:Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered (LRTR) through the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care

2. Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic TechnologistsORRegistered Sleep Technologist (RST) through American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM)within two (2) years of hire.

3. Certificationin one of the following through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC):

  • Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT)

  • Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)
