MARCH START 2Y/1ST TIMER - EEG Tech - Req 9650
Will position float between units: Yes
Is on-call required? Yes Rotating weekday and weekend call. Usually works out to 2-4 weekdays per month and 1 weekend every six weeks.
Are weekends required? Yes Rotation in weekend call. About 1 weekend every 6 weeks. Occasional need to cover weekend day shifts when other staff are on PTO.
Are block schedules required? Yes
What are expected ratios? 1:1
Special requirements: on-call coverage is included in this position. EEG techs are assigned 3 to 4 call shifts a month, which includes both weekdays and weekends, which depends on how the tech is scheduled for the month. EEG techs are not scheduled for more than 1 call shift within a 4 to 5 day interval, but can be longer, depending on scheduling. For instance, an EEG tech scheduled for an On-call shift on Monday, could not be scheduled for an On-call shift again until Friday. EEG techs are not required to work their normal shift ...
