The Resource Acquisition and Management Department of the Boston College Libraries invites applications for the position of Resource Management Librarian. This role leads the post‑acquisition maintenance, access, and ongoing management of the Libraries’ extensive online scholarly resources, including journal packages, databases, ebooks, online standing orders, and datasets across a broad range of disciplines.
The successful candidate will play a central role in sustaining the accuracy, continuity, and discovery of the Libraries’ licensed and open‑access online content. Working collaboratively with colleagues across Resource Acquisition & Management, Scholarly Platforms & Discovery, and Library Systems & Applications, the Resource Management Librarian ensures that metadata, authentication, and access pathways remain consistent, reliable, and aligned with best practices in electronic resource management.
