About the School

The Asian School of the Environment (ASE) at Nanyang Technological University focuses on the connections between geosciences, ecology, society and Earth systems. Our approach examines environmental challenges in Southeast Asia and globally. We conduct research on ecology, geohazards, climate change, sea‑level rise, sustainability and biodiversity.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join a research group led by Asst Prof Zeng Yiwen. The successful candidate will work on a multidisciplinary biodiversity modeling and spatial ecology project focused on urban Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop species distribution models, multi‑species occupancy models, biodiversity indicators, and geospatial decision‑support tools using ecological surveys, remote sensing, and airborne LiDAR data.
