About the Role
Laboratories in the Department of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine invite applications for a Research Associate position specializing in single-molecule imaging. We seek a highly motivated and creative individual who has strong expertise in:
(1) single-molecule fluorescence microscopy instrumentation, such as in vitro imaging using wide-field, objective- or prism-based total internal reflection, in vivo single-molecule localization microscopy or other types of superresolution imaging, and/or live cell single-molecule tracking;
(2) single-molecule imaging sample preparation, such as labeling and slide preparation.
(3) Single-molecule data analysis using custom MATLAB or Python scripts.
The candidate should also have broad knowledge in molecular and cell biology and biophysics.
The responsibilities of the position are:
(1) Manage and maintain single-molecule imaging instrumentation
