Position Details

The Research Associate for the Niitsitapi pod is expected to:

Lead the Niitstitapi pod language project, ensuring key milestones are met and supporting and advising the students who are operationalizing the activities

Manage and coordinate other Niitstitapi pod research activities, including:
Planning and coordinating research mobilization activities, including (for example) contributions to research publications and presentations
Hiring and training core pod positions, including onboarding new pod members
Supervise research assistants and researchers in residence, and other pod employees as appropriate
Organize and chair pod meetings
Assist project leads in organizing meetings with pod partners and community members
Assist project leads in organizing pod members’ participation in conferences and events
Promote and organize collaboration across the pod
