Essential Functions
Provide leadership to our group of up to 50 students, postdocs, and visiting researchers.Collaborate with academic and industrial partners on research projects.Offer guidance in the group’s research efforts in synthesizing and characterizing 2D materials.Expertly perform key research activities. These may include synthesis (wet chemical, high-temperature vacuum decomposition CVD; etching) and characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, Raman Spectroscopy, etc.) for carbon nanostructures, Mo₂C, and other 2D materials, such as MXenes.Offer guidance and input as needed on all parts of the project, which additionally include electrochemistry applica...
