Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and hands‑on individual who will assist with field surveys and horseshoe crab research based at the St John’s Island National Marine Laboratory.

Job Scope includes:

  • Conduct regular biodiversity field surveys (intertidal).
  • Specimen processing including imaging.
  • General maintenance and housekeeping of field equipment and laboratory.
  • Work travels expected (for fieldwork and regional collaboration).
  • Procurement for project needs.
  • Data collection of horseshoe crabs.
  • Assist in data analysis and report writing/scientific paper writing.
  • Assist in workshops and seminars.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Other duties as and when assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognised university, majoring in Biology, Zoology, or equivalent.
