About the Role
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and hands‑on individual who will assist with field surveys and horseshoe crab research based at the St John’s Island National Marine Laboratory.
Job Scope includes:
- Conduct regular biodiversity field surveys (intertidal).
- Specimen processing including imaging.
- General maintenance and housekeeping of field equipment and laboratory.
- Work travels expected (for fieldwork and regional collaboration).
- Procurement for project needs.
- Data collection of horseshoe crabs.
- Assist in data analysis and report writing/scientific paper writing.
- Assist in workshops and seminars.
- General administrative duties.
- Other duties as and when assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science from a recognised university, majoring in Biology, Zoology, or equivalent.
