About the Role
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budget and forecast exercise
- Monitor and prepare monthly financial performance and analyze it against budget
- Monitor working capital cashflow and cost control
- Oversee and manage overall finance and accounting function
- Manage banking annual financial audit VAT and CT filing
- Supervise and train finance department staff
Qualifications
- CA/CFA or equivalent degree in finance and accounting field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant post qualification experience in the shipping industry (GCC / UAE experience preferred)
- Good Knowledge of UAE CT VAT Laws
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill
