Repairs & Maintenance Surveyor

Position Overview

We are currently partnering with a housing association in the West Midlands , who are recruiting for a Repairs & Maintenance Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £41,000 to £43,000 allowance (subject to experience) + £750 car allowance and the start date is subject to notice.

Responsibilities

• Preparing repair specifications, schedules of work, or job tickets for contractors
• Diagnosing damp and mould problems using diagnostic equipment and understanding causation and remedies
• Carrying out inspections of buildings (reactive, planned, or cyclical) and diagnose building defects and identify required repairs
• Assessing the condition of structures, roofs, plumbing, heating, electrical systems, and finishes
