Relational Security Coordinator (Vancouver)

Salary range: CAD $38.90/hr – CAD $55.92/hr.

Position Overview

Relational Security Coordinator for Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), part of the Protection Services team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department that ensures the safety and security of employees, patients, visitors, and property across VCH facilities.
• Supervise a team of Relational Security Officers and Relational Security Supervisors (RSO/RSS).
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies, education, and training programs, incorporating best practices and organizational values.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Recruit, hire, and make discipline decisions for the team.
