About the Role
The Regulatory Enforcement Coordinator will report to the Manager of Environmental Health and is responsible for coordinating case management of court files for employees within the Government Service Centres. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining databases as it relates to enforcement of various Acts/Regulations. The Regulatory Enforcement Coordinator will also advise staff on compliance issues and give direction to gain compliance. This position will liaise with officials from the Department of Justice and Public Safety on legal issues; prepare court documents, summons, subpoenas for investigations and Ministerial orders as provided in legislation; attend court proceedings and maintain exhibitor logs; prepare statistical data for programs and provide a thorough review of enforcement related activities throughout the province; accompany inspection staff; provide orientation to all new staff; and other related duties as required.
