Position Overview

The Department of Electrical Engineering (ELE) in the College of Engineering at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for a Regular faculty position or Visiting faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, commencing in Fall 2027. The visiting faculty positions are primarily focused on teaching. Successful candidates for the regular positions will be expected to establish high‑level, active research programs supported by internal and external funding sources. The visiting position is a one‑year renewable contract, and the regular position is a three‑year renewable contract.
