Step into your nursing career with confidence. Join Alberta’s Graduate Nurse Transition Pilot Program (GNTPP). The program welcomes newly graduated Registered Nurses who are ready to launch their careers in either urban centers or rural communities. The 12‑month program is divided into two phases: Phase1 – Enhanced Orientation , where you will be in a supernumerary role paired with a Clinical Guide to develop a personalized learning plan, and Phase2 – Independent Practice with Support , where you will transition to independent practice while receiving ongoing mentorship.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, ensuring their safety and well‑being. You will:
