**Position Purpose:**
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Medical and Surgical area. Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care during the patient stay. Assists and directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care while maintaining professional nursing standards. Performs general nursing duties with minimal supervision. Assists in the Emergency Room as needed.

Develops and implements patient's plan of care, including collaboration of the discharge plan based on evidence-based practice standards, health center policy, and patient/family needs.
