Summary This Registered Nurse Manager position is located in Nursing, Acute Care, Medical Step Down Unit service line at the VA Connecticut Healthcare Systems, located in West Haven, CT. This position is a full time position at 40 hours per week. Responsibilities This Registered Nurse Manager is the designated first-line supervisory authority and is responsible and accountable for the 24/7 operation of their assigned units and provides coverage for other Nurse Managers as needed. Major duties include, but not limited to: Demonstrates the fundamental knowledge of the unit and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care based on age specific components.
