About the Role

We are inviting a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our fantastic Acute Zone team located at Te Nikau Hospital and Health Centre, Greymouth Hospital. As this is a casual position you could expect ad hoc shifts (covering leave and illness), with some forward planning and scheduling available when covering planned leave.

This casual position offers the challenge of a high‑acuity environment, and the reward of being part of a close‑knit, diverse committed team. Supported by our Nurse Practitioner, Rural Generalists, and other medical professionals:

• You will have the opportunity to assess and stabilise acutely unwell paediatric and adult patients
• Completing emergency procedures
• Working in our department where you can be seen to work across the Acute Zone (Emergency Department, Short Stay Unit, and Paediatric Ward)
